Use Pawtrait to photograph your pets and enjoy it. Everything you shoot belongs to you. Don't use the app to break the law or upset animals, and understand that it's a camera app made by one person — not a guarantee of a perfect photo.
By downloading or using Pawtrait you agree to these terms. Pawtrait is provided by David Swan, a sole developer based in the United Kingdom. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the app.
You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Pawtrait on devices you own or control, for as long as these terms are met. The app itself, its artwork, its sounds and its breed mascots remain our property and may not be copied, resold or reverse-engineered.
Everything you capture with Pawtrait is yours. We claim no ownership of it, we take no licence over it, and because nothing is uploaded, we never hold a copy. The same applies to any custom sound you record.

Sound cues are designed to catch a pet's attention briefly. Use them sparingly and stop if your pet seems anxious.
Pawtrait is sold through the Apple App Store, and any purchase is handled entirely by Apple under their own terms. Refunds are requested through the App Store, not from us.
Pawtrait is actively developed, so features may be added, changed or retired over time. We may also stop supporting older devices or operating system versions where it becomes impractical.
The app is provided as it is. We can't promise that every pet will look at the lens, or that the app will be free of faults or interruptions. Nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app, including lost photos, missed moments or damage to a device. Our total liability will not exceed what you paid for the app.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If they change, the revised version will appear on this page with a new "last updated" date, and material changes will be noted in the store release notes.
