Pawtrait is made by one person in the UK, so you'll always get a reply from a human. Send a message below and I'll usually come back within a day or two.
Include your device and OS version if something isn't working — it speeds things up a lot.
Try a different cue — pets tune out anything they hear too often. Turn your volume up, and record your own sound if there's a word or noise that always works.
Straight to your camera roll, at full quality. Pawtrait keeps no copy of its own and nothing is uploaded anywhere.
Tap the mascot in the top corner of the camera screen to open Sounds & Appearance, then use the recorder at the bottom of that page. Record it, give it a name, and it sits alongside the built-in cues from then on.
Any time, from the Sounds & Appearance page — tap the mascot in the top corner of the camera screen. Changing the mascot also switches the matching home-screen app icon.
No. There's no sign-up, no login and no feed. Open the app and start shooting.
It does. There are cat-friendly cues including two different meows, plus five cat mascots alongside the sixteen dog breeds.
Pawtrait is an iPhone app. Lens switching depends on the cameras your particular model has. An Android version is in development.
Please send it over — genuinely. Most of what's in the app came from someone messaging to ask for it.
